Not a Question

This is what some people feel like when they are clinically depressed.

They've lost interest in just about everything and everybody.

They don't bother get up early any more. They just want to stay in bed.

When they do get up, they do not feel refreshed.

Showering is optional.

Eating becomes something they just do because they must. Or not.
Either way it requires making a decision.

Decision-making feels damn near impossible when you Just. Don't. Care.

They may have many responsibilities and/or there may be many things available for their enjoyment, but they neither respond nor enjoy.

They may cry or yell, or RAGE!
They may do all of those things.
Or, they may be unable to do any of those things.

There is no "positive" to "focus on." If there is any positive at all, it's not nearly enough to drown out the negative.

In the evening, they can't wait to go back to bed.
